About us EMITE Ing is a technological spin-off company founded in December 2006 by Telecommunication Engineers and Doctors of the Microwave, Radiocommunications and Electromagnetism (GIMRE) Research Group (GIMRE) and Electromagnetic Interaction with Matter (GEM) Research Group of the Technical University of Cartagena (Spain). Founding of EMITE took place right after the second i-patentes prize to innovation and technology transfer in the Region of Murcia (Spain) was awarded to the company founders. The experience and know-how of EMITE Ing personnel has the origin in the first works that begun in 1992 by designing and implementing a band X radar, this works were financed by the Ministry of Industry of Spain. Since then EMITE Ing personnel has taken part in more than 150 projects and designed, fabricated and tested more than 500 prototypes, being part of several national and international telecommunications committees. The main working areas in EMITE Ing are, Microwave Engineering The engineering of microwave heating systems in industrial production, with systems installed in many companies and the complete maintenance of them. Radiated emission and drive tests in mobile and wireless telecommunications. We work with fully-equipped mobile services on board of all-terrain vehicles, control 24-hour monitoring systems and perform tests over the only dosimetric assessment system (DASY) for private use in Spain. The prevention of labor risks associated to electromagnetic field exposure, carrying external services to several companies and public administrations.
